Wedding Recap Five Years Later: My Bachelorette Party

Today kicks off a big week in the Sides' household!  On Friday, Craig and I will celebrate five years of marriage.  On one hand, it feels like just yesterday!  An another--when considering two full pregnancies and the fact that we have a 1 and 3-year old--five years seems about right!  Since I didn't blog back then, I'm going to recap all of our wedding festivities over the next ten days!!  (10 because we were married on 07.10.10!)  First up--my bachelorette party!

It truly was a perfect day with all of my best girlfriends.  It included an afternoon at the hotel's rooftop pool (with drinks), dinner at a hibachi grill, and then a night out at Power & Light.  Now that's not to say, five years later, I would celebrate the same way.  Looking back, I seem so young and obviously my interests have changed a bit.  If I were to redo my bachelorette party today, I'd still choose the pool, but maybe throw in a little pampering, dinner somewhere a bit more classy, and perhaps a lower-key night of wine drinking.  Nonetheless, it was a blast and I'm still grateful for the friends who traveled near and far to help me celebrate.

These two are my high school besties and won the award for traveling the farthest - Madison and Hawaii!
