Brrrr!!!!

No, I didn't build this.  Just found it on google and thought it was funny.

So, I'm back at school today, despite the the windchill being close to -20 degrees this morning!  I had high hopes of another day off due to the frigid temperatures.  Most of the rural schools (Kansas and Missouri sides) are closed, but us Johnson-county folk (Blue Valley, Shawnee Mission, Olathe, and us) are back in session.  Booo!!  I was pretty disappointed when Craig texted me at 5:40 this morning.  I thought for sure that was my "snow day" text.  No such luck...  And I'd be lying if I said I didn't check my phone multiple times this morning for that oh-so-wonderful text!

Random fact I heard on the radio this morning: 49 out of the 50 states have snow on the ground somewhere right now!  Even Hawaii!  (Apparently there's a mountain somewhere where people go skiing.)  Florida is the ONLY state right now without snow!

I'm okay with the snow.  (Though I am getting tired of cleaning the snow off of every square inch of Kinnick's body when he comes in from outside.  I swear that dog rolls around in it!) 

I am not okay with this negative temperature stuff!  Afterall, I moved south for a reason!  It makes my whole body hurt.  Craig doesn't believe that though.

Sometimes I like to compare temperatures between cities...

35 degrees will feel like a heat wave!

It's Girl Scout cookie time!!  Yum!  One more box coming from a neighbor girl!  Craig--please hurry home so I don't eat them all!
