Friday Five

Happy Friday!  Just popping in to share five things right now, but I'm gonna make it short and sweet because I'm exhausted!

I may be the last one on board with this amazingness, but did you know it's possible to place a Starbucks order (and pay for it) from your phone--and then it's ready for pick up as soon as you walk in the door?  I tested it earlier this week and it works like a charm!  There are some days when the drive-through is definitely worth the wait (like, when kids are along), but otherwise, this is just amazing!  I don't at all mind parking and going into the store if I know my macchiato will be waiting for me when I arrive!

Today marks 28 weeks of my pregnancy - and the start of my third trimester!!  It is also the day of my glucose test.  Wish me luck with that--I failed the initial test with Brantley, so you better believe I have been fasting ever since that S'mores drumstick I had last night. ;) Oh, I also get a shot of Rhogam in my butt for my negative blood type. Aren't Fridays supposed to be happy days?!

Last week, I tried my first-ever piece of bundt cake from Nothing Bundt Cakes.  Oh my holy goodness.  It's a good thing Craig's birthday is two weeks away so I have an excuse to buy another!  Seriously, if you have one of these stores near you and you've never tried it, go buy one this weekend.  You won't regret it!

Is anyone else as excited about this as me?!  I mean, bad boy and all, I've always been a Nick fan!!  I know he got a lot of flak for calling out Andi like he did, but honestly, that made me like him even more because seriously, guy had a point!  Anyway, I know the show has yet to air, but I can already say that he might rank in my top four favorite Bachelors ever - right there with Sean Lowe, Ben Higgins, and Aaron Buerge!

And finally, this weekend marks the official start of college football so I'll leave you with these.

Happy 3-day weekend!

I did not know this new trick about Starbucks, I'll have to try it out!

Those pictures of your boys are just adorable! We aren't huge into college football, more the NFL and that is starting real soon here!

  8. Yay for the third trimester! You’re moving right along and that sweet little babe will be here before you know it! I can’t wait to ‘meet’ him! Okay, so a guy my brother in law works with has stock in Nothing Bundt Cakes and he gets to bring them home all the time. I haven’t gotten to try them yet, but they all love them! Your Bachelor favorites are my favorites!!! I’m excited about Nick. I mean, if it couldn’t be Luke I would want Nick. Those pictures of the boys are the absolute best! You have been killing me lately with your photos, lady! So freakin’ good! Happy weekend sweet friend.

  13. So believe it or not, but I've never used the pre-order portion of my Starbucks app! I only use it to pay! I know I am totally missing out. I need to get on this!
Fingers crossed for your glucose test! I hated doing that with Mason. Hope you passed! But if you didn't... the s'mores drumstick was TOTALLY worth it!
Umm Nothing Bundt Cakes are THE BEST. I literally was planning on getting a box of the bundtinis for my bday in a couple weeks! Craig NEEDS them too!

  15. Okay so... I was downright ANGRY that they didn't pick Luke for the Bachelor, mostly because I wanted to see more of him :) But I've heard people love this Nick fella. I have no reference to him but.. maybe I'll give him a shot.
