I mentioned a few weeks ago that I was hosting a Norwex party. I was surprised at the number of people who were unfamiliar with Norwex, so here's a quick description of the company (via their mission statement on their website).
Our mission at Norwex is to improve quality of life by radically reducing chemicals in our homes. In addition, the Norwex products make cleaning faster and more cost effective than traditional cleaning products.
In a nutshell, Norwex--a direct sales company--offers environmentally-friendly products that are meant to not only improve cleaning but make the process easier! I earned around $300 in party rewards (and had so much fun shopping!) so I thought I would share a few of my favorite Norwex products thus far.
(In no way am I being compensated for this post! Just sharing a few faves.)
First and foremost are Norwex's top three sellers: the EnviroCloth, the Window Cloth, and the Dusting Mitt (which can be purchased altogether as part of the household package - and are shown above in the top middle), These are the three products I've used for a couple of years now. The EnviroCloth is made of microfiber and can be used to clean essentially anything - counter tops, walls stainless steel, carpet, windows, mirrors, etc. - and is meant to do so with only water! Included is Norwex's BacLock technology, which is an antibacterial agent designed to inhibit bacterial odor, mold, and/or mildew growth within the product. The microfiber is super dense and allows the cloth to pick up particles that a store-purchased microfiber cloth will not pick up. The purpose of the Window Cloth is to shine surfaces like windows and mirrors. I typically use this cloth after first using my Envirocloth on said surfaces. It also includes the signature BacLock technology. And finally, the Dusting Mitt is the last of three Norwex top sellers. It can be used wet or dry and is ideal for quick, chemical-free dusting throughout your home. I will say, dusting is one of my least favorite chores, but this sure makes it a lot easier!
Now, aside from Norwex's Top 3, here are five of my personal Norwex faves!
Chenille Hand Towel - This hand towel is just fun! I love the color (it matches our kitchen perfectly), love the softness, and seriously, it just makes drying my hands so much more fun than an ordinary kitchen hand towel! This, too, contains the BacLock technology which is supposed to help keep germs and bacteria from spreading!

Body Scrub Mitt - Although I still use my shower poof/loofah with body wash while taking a shower (I just can't not use soap!), I use this body mitt as an exfoliator. One side is very rough, while the other side is soft, and the rough side really helps to sluff off all those dead skin cells.
Body Cloths - Perhaps my most favorite product of all! I use these things twice per day in lieu of facewash. That's right--I haven't actually washed my face with anything but water for about four weeks now! I love how these make my face feel and it's true, they somehow take off all of my makeup with just water! Pre-Norwex, I went through facewash like crazy (a new bottle every 3 weeks?), so these things are going to save me bucco bucks in the long run!! (Side note: I purchased the Make-Up Remover Cloths--same idea but specific for sensitive skin faces--at an earlier Norwex party and I don't love them. I don't feel as if they remove my make-up like the body cloths and they have a much smaller surface area.)
Mighty Mesh Pot Scrubber - Although this is a pot scrubber, I do not (or have not anyway) used this on pots and pans. I do, however, use it on our grill. Craig and I stopped using those stainless steel grill brushes a couple of years ago after seeing a World News report about someone who swallowed a bristle and ended up in the ER. (Those bristles can seriously destroy your stomach!) But I had yet to find a decent alternative. Until now. Although this scrubber's primary use isn't for grills, that is a suggested use per Norwex's website and the handle makes it a perfect--and safe--option doing so!
Fluff and Tumble Dryer Balls - And finally, these wool dryer balls. Actually I'm still trying to decide if I 100% love these balls, but I do love the idea behind them! They eliminate the need for dryer sheets (which are apparently really bad for your health and the environment?). You use them over and over again (more money savings!) and they are meant to last about two years. What I really love is that you can drop essential oils on them to make your laundry smell super good and give yourself the added benefits of the essential oils.
So there's my Top 5 list! There are a number of other Norwex products I got as freebies and even more on my wishlist (the Bathroom Scrub Mitt, the Mattress Cleaner, and the EnviroWand, for instance). If you have a favorite, I'd love to hear what it is and how you use it!

I've wanted dryer balls for a long time. I've heard such great things about them and also love that you can use essential oils on them. I really need to just buy some and be done with it. Ha ha!
ReplyDeleteMy sister introduced me to Norwex, I had no idea before that - I love the body cloths so much too!!
ReplyDeleteI love their window cloth!
ReplyDeleteI've been invited to a few online Norwex parties, but never "attended" or purchased anything. However, I feel like I *need* those body clothes and a pot scrubber!!
ReplyDeleteI use the Mighty Mesh Pot Scrubber for cleaning our stove, inside and out. It's amazing how clean it can get it.
ReplyDeleteI had not heard of Norwex, but now I'm tempted to try all of the items you mentioned! Thanks for introducing me to your favorite items from Norwex!
