Super Wife

Today was a rare occasion.  Craig went with a group of co-workers to the Chiefs game, which means I had the entire day to myself!  We do almost everything together, and don't get me wrong, I love that about us.  But in all honestly, I can probably count on both hands the number of times I've had an entire day to myself since we started dating!  Maybe it should happen more often because I was more productive today than in all of the last two months, combined!  For starters, I cleaned our house.  And not just cleaned, but scrubbed-on-my-hands-and-knees cleaned!  It never gets too dirty (we are both neat freaks for the most part)...but not often does it get cleaned like it did today!  I even scrubbed the soap scum out of our master shower...something that only gets done a couple times per year (gross I know)!  It's a great feeling to go to bed knowing I'll wake up to such a clean house!  I also did four loads of laundry, went grocery shopping, addressed our Christmas cards (okay, so technically I typed them in Microsoft Word, printed the labels, and stuck them on the envelopes), made dinner reservations for later in the month after we see Trans-Siberian Orchestra, did a few last minute things for the baby shower I'm hosting next weekend, and made a delicious dinner to top it all off!  What a great day it was!
